A chimney assessment is the foundation of a safe home. NFPA 211 — the national standard for chimney and venting safety — recommends an annual inspection for any chimney in regular use, and for good reason: small issues caught early are inexpensive fixes, while ignored ones become fires, leaks, or structural damage.
Every assessment we perform is a thorough, top-to-bottom evaluation of all accessible areas of your chimney, carried out by trained professionals who know exactly what to look for and where problems tend to start.
Every assessment includes a full chimney sweep — removing creosote, debris, and any buildup that could affect safety or performance — because a proper evaluation isn't possible without one. Once the sweep is complete, we conduct a final review of the venting system to confirm that everything is clear, properly sealed, and operating as it should. If the flue doesn't meet our standards on the first pass, we sweep it again. No upcharge, no shortcuts.
Every assessment ends with a comprehensive, photo-documented report, so you always have a clear record of your chimney's condition and the work we performed.
